flamingo.....

Flamingos are pink because of the shrimp they eat. Flamingos that do not eat shrimp are white.

Ancient Romans ate the tongues of flamingos
and considered them a delicacy

1 out of 300 people have an irrational phobia of flamingos

Flamingos feel most secure when they
are crowded together in a group

Don Featherstone from Massachusetts created the pink lawn ornament in 1957. Today his company sells an average of 250,000 to 500,000 pink plastic flamingos per year.

There are more plastic flamingos in America than real ones

So…

Eat lots of shrimp to stay in the pink, travel in groups, fear no one, and bite your tongue if someone tries to sell you a pink plastic flamingo (unless you absolutely must have one)
