stormy...

It was a dark and stormy night…..
(Snoopy, Peanuts comic strip,

Baltimore Inner Harbor March 2011

the storm intentionally blurring my favorite
view of the Domino Sugar sign and the
blue lights along the Baltimore Aquarium

boats all snugged up in the docks

winds tossing numbers together

all caught up by the letter F.

That’s my story and hope Snoopy would approve!

road trips...I never sleep well when traveling
do you?

I know that Domino Sugar sign. I used to live in Baltimore for many years before being transplanted back to Ohio. How I miss the water, the crabs and everything else that is so Maryland. Do you live in Baltimore or just visiting?

Hee hee~ I see Snoopy sitting on top of his red doghouse with his typewriter. :)

Love the bag.

I am currently hosting an auction of vintage and antique linen treasures on the Decor To Adore blog. Stop by and take a peek.

Be blessed!

I'm sure Snoopy would approve. No, I don't sleep particularly well when traveling either!!

Well, Snoopy sleeps on top of his dog house so no wonder you don't sleep well when you travel! Happy weekend, Cathy!

I love how you translated the storm into the stitchery. Just beautiful. And I'm sure Snoopy would approve! Visiting from Friday's Favourites.

Well, I am one of those people who can sleep anywhere, anytime. I never used to be, I think that just shows I don't get enough rest :0 I have so many photos just like yours, it made me smile :) As did your handiwork. I had my youngest sons room all done up with boats, and water. Turns out he likes airplanes and sky! XO, kelly

I would probably sleep just fine when away, with a bag like that keeping me company!

I [heart] road trips!! Great blurred pic, captures the moment beautifully. Funny thing is... I can sleep in cars, I can sleep on planes and trains... but I have many restless nights in my own bed.

Beautiful embroidered bag!! Hope you are having a great weekend :)
