Royal Leeks.....

mysteriously mixed in with my pocket
change of quarters and dimes...

was a British pound

bearing the symbol of a leek in a coronet

one of the symbols of Wales

edge inscription: PLEIDIOL WYF I'M GWLAD

"True am I to my country"

makes you think twice before
chopping some royal leeks up for soup...

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

Would love it if coins magically appeared in my pocket! With or without the leeks... Happy Monday!
