skullduggery...redefined.....

I have driven by this sign a gazillion times
and it always makes me do a double take

free dirt

free graveyard dirt!

For my garden?
...gives new meaning to pushing up daisies

Free graveyard dirt…

redefines skullduggery, doesn’t it?

I’ll go back soon and pay my respects to this
newly-departed-unknown-soul,
and say thanks for a bit of skullduggery.

you been up to any skullduggery lately?

Cathy, I don't know if I would accept this "free dirt", it being "hallowed ground" and all! :-) xo,

Great stitch work! I'm just wondering tho - what do you do with all the stuff you make? Do you sell it all or keep it for yourself or what?

You gotta give them credit, Cathy - very interprising! Kinda like "free" tap water... Happy weekend!

Cathy- How unusual. I guess dirt is just dirt!

I once bid on a load of dirt at a charity auction and it turned into a nightmare. The truck had to use a neighbor's driveway (we asked permission!) to dump it in our backyard, but the truck started sinking and ripping up their driveway.

Then the driver said he couldn't take the dirt back and he had to dump it in the road in front of the house where it blocked a lane of traffic!

Cathy I have missed so many of your lovely posts due to our extended holiday. I am playing catch up with a vengeance.

Not sure I would like graveyard dirt as a filler in my garden, you never know what you may find amongst the leaves and soil!

Gorgeous work as ever.
