red leaves and big sticks.....

the fall season seems to be flying by in a blur

how to get this photo-blur technique?

just have the Hound with a newly discovered
6-foot-stick clenched in her teeth...

come charging up behind you to
whomp out the backs of your knees

if planning ahead logically…

I’d string this pine with lights on this mild autumn day

nah…

I’ll wait till a bone-chilling-cold day after Thanksgiving

the holidays are flying in fast!

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

They say, "time flies when you're having fun," so I guess we're all having the time of our lives!

Indeed they are and "the hound" did you a favor as that's a cool picture! Ann

That dog sounds like a handful, but hey it produced a great shot. They are like children aren't they.

The reds look superb.

That red is so vibrant, Cathy! What a great choice! LOL! Silly dog, doesn't he know you need a thicker branch to take someone totally down. : )

I thought about decorating outside too but that's as far as I got. I'll wait a few weeks and it will most likely be freezing! Great shade of red.

You make the loveliest things. Do you sell them or use them all?
Beautiful fall pictures. Cindy

Oh, Cathy, this was such a fun post!! Love that red tree! And, that is some special technique to get the 'blur'. ;)

The little cardinal with the ornament flying out behind him is too darn cute! blessings ~ tanna

Can't believe Thanksgiving is almost upon us which means getting my boys and four-legged girls to pose for a picture... preferably in focus but that blurring technique you have could be fun!

Gotta love those doggies!
Why IS it that we wait until
it's numbingly cold to finish
the decorating?! And I love
your cardinal ~ gorgeous!

Thanks for making me smile--I love your dog! (Makes me think of my own sweet departed boy whom I dearly miss.)
We've had one of the mildest Falls anyone around here can remember; and my Christmas lights are already up. But not turned on!

Your napkins are georgous! Which I knew I would love. Just had to check in and see what you were up to. It's been so crazy busy here I've not had much blogging time and I miss is, but will probably be after Thanksgiving. I work in retail! part-time! UGH!

Love your shots- blurred or not!!! And, yes, this year is passing in a complete blur. I'm still trying to reconcile that I'll be in TX next week for Thanksgiving and days after I return the first big holiday party happens.

2011 is almost in the rear view mirror!

How can you not love the word, "Whomp." I've been a tad whomped and missed visiting, but, yes, fall is flying. I still have the napkins, and still want the embroidery. So..manage me. Let's do it after the New Year. Do you remember the highly challenging initials?
Best,
Liz
