wise night owls.....

perched around the library tower above the cornice

Rush Rhees Library...designed in 1920

this place is packed with wisdom,
and wise owls everywhere you look

some carved in stone

and flanking the doorways

Knock, knock……

Life’s a hoot!

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

Wonderful embroidery yet again: how do you do it?

"Give a hoot, don't pollute!" Ooops, sorry, 70's flashback! LOL. Another winning design.

I would never have realized those were owls on top of that building! Owls are everywhere now, Cathy! Just saw more today at Pier 1! My daughter has taken to them and when we are out, she always stops to check them out. Your design is just perfect.

Owls are so stately, aren't they? My mom used to collect them, so they always bring a smile to my face.

Wise Owl is one of our favorite characters from Pooh... There must be something about being surrounded with such wisdom.
