capitol versus capital…..

The US Capitol dome:

8,909,200 pounds of cast iron

540 rooms

850 doorways

365 steps from basement to dome

Stories of murder, curses, demon cats and statues stepping down to dance minuets at midnight

couldn’t fit all of those Capitol capital bits
onto a 6x6 cocktail napkin
so...

the Capitol pulled in the capital columns...
III
of the third JBTC

Wonder if JBTC the third has any capital tales
to tell from the Capitol?

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

Gorgeous and so elegant! Very "Capitol-worthy".
I am a terrible speller but 2 of my pet peeves are the misspellings of catitol/capital and stationer/stationary!

Cathy, the congressman loved the design and as always I appreciated your patience in working on a design with me. I was so blown away how you incorporated his lineage into the design. Your talent always amazes me. I think he should incorporate his new logo into his shirt cuffs. Can you imagine the White House logo in 2016? Lol! Better start working on it. ;). You are the best, my friend. xoxo

You could have an entirely new career correcting spelling faux pas. :)

Very unique. Love your napkins with those cool glasses. I'm not sure I want to hear those walls talk, we'd probably faint!
