squirrel spit.....

The Hound’s agenda for most days:

stand guard at the front entrance protecting domicile

lounge around the porch snoozing

but now The Hound insists on coming in for water breaks...

despite the freshly filled water bowl
outside the front entrance

and it’s all his fault...

see him?

in stealth-mode up there in the tree...

as soon as The Hound is making guard rounds
around the premises barking at anyone down on the street to throw back the tennis ball she rolled down toward them...

this guy stealthily sneaks in for a drink
from The Hound’s water bowl

The Hound...ewwww, squirrel spit!
No way am I drinking that now!

What’s this have to do with the pillow d?

absolutely nothing...

unless d. decides to take his beverage outside...

then beware of thirsty stealthy squirrels

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

so funny. love the pillow. love your dog. I would definitely throw the ball back for him. I'm always a sucker for a cute face.

How particular he is!

Could you put out a separate wee bowl for the squirrel? Then the hound could spit in it!

Well, I can't blame him, Cathy! I guess everyone is going to have to watch their drinks outside now!

Guess that Squirrelizer app has come back to bite you! Or at least drink the Hound's water... My girls are too busy eating deer droppings to notice who is drinking out of their water bowl - ewwww indeed! Happy weekend, Cathy!

I would be quite happy to sit for hours watching these goings on. Gorgeous gorgeous dog. I noticed the tennis ball in the background. My mother's black lab is tennis ball obsessed! Tinley is really starting to enjoy her games of fetch but not like the labs, oh they do love it don't they?
Sometimes when I call my parent's house I will be informed that they are at "Wimbledon", meaning they are having a marathon tennis fetch with the dog :)

My dog goes nuts when squirrels are in her yard...and I just can't imagine what she would do if one of them drank her water! Very fun post...love the "d."

Love that pillow!!! It is so cute and unique, bright and cheerful. Do you sell the things you make or keep them all? You make the most beautiful things.
