deer oh dear.....

is she giving me a stink-eye-look

because I disturbed her nap?

or, is she saying...

“quick deer dear, bring me a blanket”

it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

That monogram is beautiful, Cathy! I love the colors, too. We've been seeing a deer {small} in an open field by a local church near us. Only we're not sure if it's real or a statue! I'm betting it's real {especially since I saw it in a different area a few days later and there is only one}. Hubby thinks it's a statue.

You always choose such great color combinations. Love the deep snow the deer is in.

Love the little French knots. Deers have the sweetess faces. Before we had a fence in our back yard, I would wake up to crunching and munching sounds of them eating our roses. I do like them on the other side of the fence. :)

Beautiful dear and embroidery!
I was looking down my bookmarks and saw your blog name - I posted my mom's vintage embroidery swatches last Thursday/Friday for the world to see. You might want to take a peak at them - you can probably really appreciate them. She did them with a treadle and an embroidery hoop - moving the stitches back and forth - by hand. They're all quite awesome.
That's why I love your blog - though I don't get by often.
Enjoyed my visit today!
Thanks! Jenn
