consumer of gunpowder rum.

 

Gunpowder and rum were also used

by pirates to create tattoos.

Nowadays it’s safer to stick with

Captain Morgan’s Tattoo brand rum...

 

and a monogrammed tattoo in thread

The Corpse Flower blooms once about every 10-years

 

 

a bloom can grow up to 10-ft tall—this one is about 4-ft-8-in

 

 

the bloom lasts only 24-48 hours

and the smell lives up to the name—gag

 

 

 

 

 

this bloom has been dubbed Romero after the filmmaker George A. Romero who filmed the cult classic Night of the Living Dead here in Pittsburgh back in 1968

over 600 knitted/crocheted blankets = yarn bombed!

 

 

The project will be up thru September 6. Afterwards the blankets will be distributed to those in need.
