“If I stay close to the reeds, maybe she won’t
notice I jumped in the pond…”
“Uh-oh, she spotted me…”
“Bleh, pond scum does not taste good at all”
Yes, it's the hound's kind of fun…
but it was one wet-pond-scum-smelling-hound ride home
“Earned me a new, fresh-smelling collar!”
freshly scrubbed and dreaming of the next dive-in for frog-chasin’, blue-gill-scarin’, and pond-scum-skimmin’ kind of hound-hijinks
it's just embroidery, have fun with it!

You asked for it didn't you Cathy, calling your hound Avalanche!
Would he be different if his name were Cuthbert?
If your Avalanche is anything like my Daisy, I'll bet that pond scum was quite tasty!
Best,
Susan
I take it, that with a name like that he has been mischief since he was a puppy? Gorgeous hound!
He really cleans up nicely! You can't blame him for jumping in, it's what dogs and boys do :)

Don't you love the look they give you when they know they're in trouble... "who me?" with a smile on their face! Looks like your hound and my "girls" could get into so real trouble...
xxoo
When I was growing up we had a golden lab named Shannon. She looooved to go down to the creek just south of our acreage. It was a muddy old creek (or as we say, "crick") and she would come home with the top half of her body still golden, and the bottom half turned black! She was a happy girl!
Hilarious! Looks like Avalanche had a fantastic time!
: )
LOL! Avalanche had a grand adventure!! And, scored a nice new collar. Good day! LOL! blessings ~ Tanna
Oh, those pups sure are fun!!! I haven't let Molly near water yet....wondering if she would just dive in. She seems to have a knack for jumping off things!
And....LOVING that monogrammed dog collar! Taking holiday orders for those???
